Vitality filmed their new commercial in December 2019 at one of our new, exclusive sites, Newham Business Centre!
Last year, The Film Office reached out to the highly impressive Newham Business Centre (Royal Albert Dock) for filming purposes as a brand new, private location in the heart of Newham, next door to Newham Dockside. The site offers multiple empty glass office spaces, retail units, lobbies, walkways and roads for creative use. Vitality contacted us in November, on the hunt for a gym to use for a day’s filming for their forthcoming commercial. After looking through FilmHub and visiting a few working gyms, Newham Business Centre came up trumps, offering an environment for a quiet and contained area for filming.
The production spent a day prepping the location, making a reception area, as well as an exterior walk around for the puppy to enter in. The gym was also then dressed in, bringing in the equipment. The private walkways at the location worked well to give the ‘modern’ lifestyle the production were after.
Location Manager Ben MacGregor commented, “I found the location to be extremely receptive to filming – there are a wealth of offices to choose from – ranging from contemporary work share space to corporate open planned – the vacant floors lend themselves well to set builds.”

We’ve had 5 shoots here now and with unit basing on-site and many holding areas on offer, it easily caters for all of a production’s needs both logistically and visually – be it for filming, photography or events.
