Newham Film Office were delighted to help facilite Unicef UK’s latest campaign, #WorldUpsideDown. The campaign comes ahead of the first ever World Humanitarian Summit in May 2016, and Unicef UK is at the forefront on changing how the world responds in emergencies. The short film, produced by Thomas Thomas Films, was filmed in our client Borough of Newham at the Royal Victoria Gardens and the Old Railway Station.
The scenes are of a family trip to the park where the children innocently play. Filming in a public park and children’s play ground is a sensitive area and here at The Newham Film Office we ensure that council departments and members of the public are fully aware of filming. We worked closely with the production on all aspects of the shoot and always welcome supporting such good causes.
